Your privacy matters. Slomo is built to keep your subscription data on your device and to collect as little information as possible. This policy explains exactly what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
Slomo is operated by Ahmad Faour, an individual developer based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ("we," "our," or "us"). Ahmad Faour is the data controller for personal information processed through the Slomo mobile application ("Slomo" or the "App").
For privacy questions or requests, contact support@slomoapp.io.
2. Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Slomo collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the App. Slomo is designed to be local-first. Your subscription data lives primarily on your device. We collect only the minimum information needed to provide the App and its optional sync, account, and purchase features.
3. Information we collect
- Account information: If you create an account, we collect your email address and an authentication identifier through Supabase. We do not store your password in plain text.
- Subscription entries: Names, amounts, categories, billing cycles, and renewal dates you enter. Stored on your device and, if you sign in, synced to your account.
- App preferences: Theme, currency, and notification preferences (stored locally).
- Purchase information: RevenueCat and Apple or Google process payments. We receive entitlement status (e.g. Pro active), not your full card details.
- Diagnostic information: If you opt in via device settings, Apple or Google may receive anonymous crash data. We do not collect crash data ourselves.
4. Information we do NOT collect
- We do not connect to your bank account.
- We do not read or scan your email.
- We do not access contacts, photos, location, or microphone.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use ad or cross-app tracking SDKs.
5. How we use your information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the App.
- Sync data across devices signed into the same account.
- Verify in-app purchases and grant Slomo Pro.
- Schedule local renewal reminders on your device.
- Respond to support requests and legal obligations.
6. Third-party service providers
- Supabase — authentication and optional cloud sync.
- RevenueCat — in-app purchase entitlements.
- Apple App Store / Google Play — distribution and billing.
7. Data retention
We retain account and synced data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete associated backend data within a reasonable period, except where law or security requires retention.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location (including the EU, UK, California, and Saudi Arabia under applicable law), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to certain processing. Slomo supports CSV export and in-app account deletion.
9. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information. Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.
10. Children's privacy
Slomo is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
11. International data transfers
Our service providers may store or process data outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (for example, where Supabase hosts your project region). By using Slomo, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to countries with different data-protection laws, subject to appropriate safeguards where required.
12. Changes
We may update this Policy and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated in the App or by email.
