Terms & Conditions

Last updated: May 20, 2026

Welcome to Slomo. Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using the App. By using Slomo, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Before you publish: This is the same agreement shown inside the Slomo app. Confirm the operating entity and governing-law section with a qualified attorney before relying on it publicly.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Slomo mobile application ("Slomo," the "App," "we," "our," or "us"), you ("you" or "User") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download, install, or use the App.

These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and the operator of Slomo. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the App.

2. Description of Service

Slomo is a personal subscription tracker that helps you record, organize, and visualize the recurring payments you choose to enter manually. Slomo does not connect to your bank, scan your email, or import any financial data on your behalf.

Some features are free. Other features ("Slomo Pro") require a paid subscription or a one-time purchase, including but not limited to unlimited subscription entries, spending breakdown charts, and custom renewal reminders.

3. Free Trial and Billing

Slomo Pro may be offered as a recurring subscription (monthly or yearly) or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Pricing, billing cycles, and any free trial period will be clearly disclosed at the point of purchase within the App.

All purchases are processed by Apple (through the App Store) or Google (through Google Play). Your payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Deleting the App alone does not cancel your subscription.

4. Refunds

All payments are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies. Slomo does not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds. To request a refund, please contact Apple Support or Google Play Support.

5. Your Account and Responsibilities

You are responsible for any data you enter into Slomo and for keeping your account credentials secure. You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose, not to attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App, and not to interfere with the App's normal operation.

You agree that all subscription, pricing, and renewal data displayed in Slomo is information you provide. Slomo does not verify, validate, or guarantee the accuracy of this data.

6. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using Slomo, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.

Slomo is designed to be local-first: your subscription data lives on your device. If you create an account, a copy may be securely synced to our backend so it can be restored on other devices you own.

7. Intellectual Property

Slomo, including its name, logo, design, illustrations, source code, and content, is the intellectual property of its owners and is protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its content without our prior written permission.

8. Third-Party Services

Slomo relies on third-party services including Apple App Store / Google Play (for distribution and billing), RevenueCat (for managing in-app purchases), and Supabase (for optional account sync). Your use of those services is also governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Slomo is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Slomo is a personal organizational tool and is not financial advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Slomo, its operators, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the App.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Slomo at any time if you violate these Terms or use the App in a way that may harm us or other users. You may stop using Slomo at any time by deleting the App from your device.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of Slomo after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your country of residence, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
